Mass Demonstration in Spain Demands an End to the Ongoing Genocide in Palestine.

The Spanish capital, Madrid, witnessed huge demonstrations, in which hundreds of thousands participated in solidarity with the Gaza Strip demanding an end to the “genocide in Palestine.”
The Spanish government confirmed that about 25,000 demonstrators marched between Atocha station and Cibeles Square in the center of the capital.
The main banner, which was colored in the colors of the Palestinian flag, called on the Spanish government to “end the arms trade and relations with the usurping entity.”

Numerous demonstrations also took place in other major Spanish cities, including Barcelona, Valencia, and Seville, called for by the Solidarity Network platform against the occupation of Palestine, under the slogan “Let’s Stop the Genocide in Palestine.”
Participants in the demonstrations raised Palestinian flags and banners denouncing the crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people, and called for an end to double standards and the need to prosecute the occupation for its massacres against the Palestinian people and genocide in Gaza.
It is noteworthy that since October 7, 2023, the Zionist occupation has launched a devastating aggression against Gaza, resulting in an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, causing the displacement of more than 85 % of the Strip’s population, which is equivalent to 1.9 million persons, according to data issued by the Palestinian authorities and the United Nations.
