In cooperation with the Mandela family, The Global Campaign to Return to Palestine organizes the fifth international Convention of Solidarity with Palestine, that will be held in South Africa in December 2023.
GCRP states on its website that the conference will commemorate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, November 29, 2023, which coincide with the tenth anniversary of the launch of the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine, and in appreciation of the iconic leader, the striver for freedom “Nelson Mandela” on the anniversary of his passing on December 5, 2013.
The Fifth International Forum of Solidarity with Palestine will be held under the title: “Nelson Mandela and Palestine: Confronting Racism till Liberation”
From 2 to 5 December 2023, in South Africa.
International revolutionary figures known for their stances towards just and legitimate issues in the world, the most important of which is the Palestinian issue, will participate in the conference.
The Convention aims to send a message of support and solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian people to regain their rights, especially the right of return. Inspired by the struggle model of leader Nelson Mandela on its tenth anniversary. It also emphasizes the interconnectedness of the global struggle in the face of colonialism and racism, and the continued role of the African continent in general and the South African state in particular in the global liberation movement.
Since its establishment, GCRP has continued by holding international conferences in solidarity with the Palestinian people and mobilizing global support and human solidarity with the just cause of Palestine.
