The Palestinian communication network in Berlin has urgently called on Arab and foreign media to highlight a draft law in Germany titled “Law for the Protection of Jewish Life.” This controversial law seeks to limit pro-Palestinian activities, particularly the BDS.

Reports from Der Spiegel indicate a consensus among governing and opposition parties regarding the bill, which will soon be presented to the German parliament. The law includes amendments to criminal laws, allowing the revocation of residency and citizenship from “anti-Israel” individuals, prohibiting institutions that oppose Israel, imposing censorship on cultural events, and implementing penalties in schools and universities.

These measures are viewed as a threat to freedom of expression and a crackdown on Palestinian activists; therefore, the Arab media network urges a firm stance against this legislation.
