The Global Campaign to Return to Palestine emphasized the importance of boycotting the occupation and organizing large-scale campaigns to provide aid to Gaza. This statement came in a letter to members, marking the first anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle. The campaign said, “The Zionist aggression and the total war of extermination on the Gaza Strip is entering its second year. After several months, it has expanded to include the West Bank and other Palestinian areas, in addition to several other countries that have been affected by Zionist aggression, with Lebanon being at the forefront, where the Zionist plan to exterminate Gaza is being replicated, through the complete destruction of the cities and villages in the south and the southern suburbs id Beirut.”

GCRP noted the importance of cooperation and work between its members “to continue all forms of solidarity activities, regardless of the time frame; in loyalty to the sacrifices made by the Palestinian people every day, without abandoning their legitimate rights.”

The Global Campaign to Return to Palestine also stressed the “importance of striving to develop solidarity activities in line with the various challenges and to benefit from the new opportunities created by the Al-Aqsa Flood, which has placed the Palestinian cause at the forefront of global issues.”

It called on its members to work on clarifying the key issues that portray the true image to the world, “and that Al-Aqsa Flood, along with all forms of Palestinian resistance, is merely a practical response and legitimate resistance against the occupation, siege, and violations of Palestinian rights since 1948 up to the present day.”

The campaign added in its statement that “through its various and diverse activities, it seeks not only to halt the Zionist war of extermination and lift the siege imposed on the Palestinian people but also to secure global recognition of the Palestinians’ right to resist until they achieve their legitimate goals in liberating their land and attaining their rights especially the right of Return.”

GCRP also called upon the free people of the world and international legal organizations “to support actions to prosecute the entity in international courts and to file new lawsuits related to specific aspects ofthe aggression, such as the destruction of the health sector, targeting children, the use of prohibited weapons, and other related issues.”

In its letter, GCRP praised the efforts of boycott movements in all their forms, urging their continuation and the struggle to establish the right to boycott as a legal, peaceful expression against discrimination, racism, and occupation.

The campaign also highlighted the need to organize major campaigns to provide humanitarian relief to Gaza and support reconstruction initiatives, free from political exploitation.

The Global Campaign to Return to Palestine pointed out that “the supportive fronts backing the Palestinian resistance are part of the struggle of the peoples of the region against the Zionist project, which targets them all, especially since they belong to one nation that has been split into multiple countries by colonial decisions, contrary to the will ofits people.”

GCRP concluded its letter stating that they trust in what historical experiences confirm: that free people defending themselves must inevitably prevail, and the fall of the aggressors is certain. This is especially true as we witness these legendary scenes that express the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, their high spirit, pride in their martyrs, and their belief in and adherence to their rights, despite all the aggression they face. Alongside them are their friends who stand with them with determination and resilience, especially in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran, and that they will continue to work with their members and friends to support the Palestinian people in all fields.
