Yesterday, Tuesday, May 7, a delegation from the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine, which included Dr. Abdel Malik Sukkariyeh and the Ambassador of Return, the vocalist Moeen Sharif, visited the Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, to thank the Beirut Governorate cooperation and the Governor’s personal participation in the activity of illuminating the Raouche Rock with the Palestinian flag last March. The activity was part of the commemoration of Palestinian Land Day, and Quds International Day, organized by the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine.
The delegation praised the important patriotic speech delivered by Judge Marwan Abboud during the ceremony, and his sincere expression about the stance of the people of Beirut, regardless of their sects, in support of the rights and struggle of the Palestinian people.
The meeting also discussed the activities of members of GCRP in various countries, in light of the genocide committed by the usurping entity in Gaza, the student uprising in American and European universities, and the importance of these movements in mobilizing global public opinion in support of the Palestinian cause.

The visit was concluded with the delegation of the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine awarding the honoring Palque to the Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, as a token of thanks and appreciation for his efforts made to support the Palestinian cause.
