With the participation of members from the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine; a monument has been built in Qartuba City near Chakri Interchange Islamabad to express solidarity with the oppressed Palestinians and the support the Palestinian people’s right of return.
A key to the international symbol of the Palestinians’ right of return has been installed in the memorial.
Liaqat Baloch, member of the GCRP, said “we support the right of Palestinian people and Palestine is the homeland of the Palestinians.”
For the solution of the Palestinian issue, we are with the right of return of the Palestinians and a fair solution based on the referendum- He said that those talking about two-state solution do injustice to Palestine. Palestine always belonged to the Palestinians, with capital is Al-Quds.
Baloch appealed to the people not to forget the Palestinians in the month of Ramadan and to celebrate Ramadan as the month of Palestine.
