The second day of the Fifth Global Convention for Solidarity with Palestine ended its workshops amid wide global participation, as the final statement was delivered by the grandson of the late freedom fighter Nelson Mandela, in which he affirmed full support and absolute solidarity with Palestine and its people facing of the usurping entity.
The declaration demanded the necessity of an immediate and unconditional cessation of the Nazi-Zionist war and its massacres against the Palestinian people. It also called on all political activists and the international community to stop the war on Palestine.
It also called for confronting the Zionist entity legally whether in international or national courts because of its crimes in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the launch of many activities and initiatives to end the siege on Gaza.
The declaration continued: The whole world must learn from the legend of the struggle, Nelson Mandela, ensuring the necessity of linking the struggle in South Africa against the policy of apartheid with the resistance of the Palestinian people to the usurping entity.
It stated that there must be focus and development of means of communication between organizations of the international humanitarian community and the need to organize conferences throughout the year in order to support the Palestinian cause, and coordination between influencers on social media to expose the ongoing crimes of the Zionist entity against civilians and the defenseless.
In conclusion, the declaration extended the participants’ greetings to the steadfast and resistant Palestinian people.
