The university uprising is a striking solidarity phenomenon that swept the squares and universities, rejecting the genocide in the Gaza Strip and the massacres and genocidal war committed by the occupying entity.
With the beginning of the new semester, university students returned to their seats, and resumed demonstrations and student activities in many American and European universities, announcing that student protests has returned.
At Columbia University in New York City, many students demonstrated on the first day of school, demanding that their university boycott the occupying entity academically and economically.
As for Brown University in the United States,
many students raised banners demanding that the university sever all ties with the occupying entity due to the educational genocide war and the destruction of schools and universities, and in support of the students of Gaza and Palestine.
At the University of Michigan, a group of about 50 young people gathered in a demonstration at the school club exhibition, in Steeple, last Wednesday. They sat and lay on the ground chanting “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” while holding banners with pictures of the Palestinians who were martyred in Gaza and reading their names. Since October 7, the occupying entity has completely destroyed more than 122 schools and universities, and 9,000 male and female students from various educational levels have been martyred, as well as more than 500 faculty members, and more than 110 university professors, researchers and workers in Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip.
