Last night and early Wednesday morning, the usurping entity launched a wide campaign of raids that targeted several towns and cities across the West Bank, involving home invasions, arrests, and vandalism of properties and facilities.

In Nablus, forces of the usurping entity stormed the city and deployed in the old town, raiding citizens’ homes, conducting violent searches, and destroying their contents. They also raided the eastern market near the Prophets’ Mosque and Sheikh Muslim neighborhood, while distributing inciting leaflets throughout the old town. As a result, the municipality of Nablus announced the suspension of work today at the main municipal building and the Water and Sanitation Department, while allowing employees able to reach their workplaces without endangering their safety to continue their duties.

In Tubas, armored vehicles stormed the town of Tammoun southeast of the city, with forces spreading on its outskirts and carrying out raids in several neighborhoods.

In Jenin, the usurping entity’s forces invaded the town of Al-Yamoun west of the city with a large number of military vehicles, raiding the home of citizen Jaafar Abdul Karim, searching it, and leaving extensive destruction. Explosions were also heard in Jenin refugee camp, caused by training and detonations carried out by the usurping entity inside the camp.

In Salfit, the usurping entity arrested a young man from the town of Kafr al-Dik, and detained the driver of a vehicle after it collided with the military checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballut, while intensifying its presence at the town’s entrances.

In Bethlehem, the usurping entity carried out a wide campaign of arrests, detaining several young men in the town of Tuqu southeast of the city. It also arrested one young man from the Khallayil al-Louz area east of Bethlehem, in addition to others from Dheisheh and Aida refugee camps, after raiding and searching their homes.

These simultaneous raids come as part of the usurping entity’s escalating policy in West Bank towns and cities, marked by nightly incursions, the imposition of checkpoints, and daily arrests that affect dozens of Palestinians.
