As it does at the beginning of every year, the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine has released its annual calendar in both Arabic and English, as part of a documentary and media effort aimed at highlighting key milestones of the Palestinian cause and linking collective memory to the issue as a just and ongoing humanitarian cause.
The annual calendar, issued this year under the title “Triumph of Will over Tyranny,” is considered one of the campaign’s key awareness tools. It seeks to create a knowledge space that documents the ongoing violations against the Palestinian people, while highlighting major media and field solidarity activities, as well as moments of steadfastness and popular resistance. The calendar is supported by photographs and concise data designed to address a diverse global audience.
This publication comes within the context of the role played by the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine since its establishment. The campaign has been active at the media, cultural, and grassroots levels through organizing international conferences, launching digital campaigns, and commemorating national occasions, with the aim of reinforcing the right of return and rejecting attempts to erase Palestinian identity.
