As part of its effort to strengthen its international presence and build bridges with symbols of struggle and liberation around the world, a delegation from the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine (GCRP), represented by Dr. Abdel Malik Sukarieh, visited the Arabic Lebanese freedom fighter George Abdallah after his release from French prisons, where he spent 41 years because of his steadfast support for Palestine.
During the meeting, Dr. Sukarieh gave a comprehensive presentation on the goals and international activities of GCRP, explaining its mission to support the Palestinian people’s right to freedom and return, and outlining its most notable achievements in both media and public outreach. These included popular events, worldwide solidarity campaigns, and educational and mobilization programs that the Campaign carries out in dozens of countries.
The discussion also highlighted the Campaign’s ongoing efforts to confront normalization, expose the crimes of the usurping entity, and shed light on the suffering of the Palestinian people under siege and war.
In a symbolic gesture of appreciation and loyalty, the delegation presented George Abdallah with the GCRP scarf and a commemorative plaque bearing the Campaign’s emblem, expressing gratitude for his unwavering stance and historic support for Palestine and its just cause.
GCRP, through its broad activities and engagement with free individuals and organizations, continues to expand the space of global solidarity and link the struggles of peoples for freedom and justice, keeping Palestine a unifying cause for all the free people of the world.
