In continuation of global solidarity efforts with the Palestinian cause, the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine held a coordination meeting with its members from Latin American countries and Spain, in the presence of the campaign’s leadership. The meeting was part of the Fourth International the Call of Al-Aqsa Conference, held in Iraq.
The discussions addressed the major challenges facing solidarity movements, and explored ways to enhance coordination mechanisms on the ground and in the media—aimed at unifying grassroots and official efforts in support of Palestine and in exposing the crimes of the usurping entity.
The meeting brought together a group of prominent activists and influential political figures, including: Ismail Khalil and MP Vanina Biasi from Argentina, Jihad Shahwan from Chile, Bassam Tajeddine from Venezuela, Christian Nader from Mexico, MP Ingracia Rivera from Spain, and Andre Dutra from Brazil.
Participants emphasized the importance of building on the growing public momentum, expanding outreach to human rights and media institutions, and launching local initiatives that help break the media blockade imposed on the voice of the Palestinian people.
