A delegation from the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine (GCRP), accompanied by several participants in the Fourth International Conference of “the Call of Al-Aqsa,” visited the Warith International Medical Foundation in Karbala. The Foundation had previously received and treated a number of children from Gaza suffering from cancer, in a humanitarian initiative that reflects a concrete commitment to supporting the Palestinian people.

The visit also included a tour of several educational, media, health, and cultural institutions affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, where the delegation was briefed on the Shrine’s leading projects and services. Discussions were held regarding possible avenues of cooperation in support of the Palestinian cause and in amplifying the voice of besieged Gaza.

The participants praised the pioneering role of the Shrine and its consistent efforts in hosting the annual Call of Al-Aqsa Conference, affirming that such engagement exemplifies how religious institutions can stand at the forefront of the Ummah’s struggles—especially the just cause of Palestine.
