This afternoon, the Fourth International “Al-Aqsa Call” Conference will commence in the holy city of Karbala, Iraq, at 5:00 PM, with the participation of religious, intellectual, and political figures from various countries around the world. The conference is held in support of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem, and to reaffirm the centrality of the Palestinian cause in the conscience of the Ummah.

This year’s conference takes place amid escalating aggression by the usurping entity and the ongoing siege and starvation imposed on Gaza. Participants are expected to issue a unified call to stop the massacres and to expose the violations before international public opinion.

The conference is organized by the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine (GCRP), in cooperation with several Iraqi institutions, and aims to build a popular, spiritual, and moral front of solidarity with the Palestinian people, and to enhance the presence of the Palestinian cause in cultural, religious, and humanitarian consciousness.

The conference program includes speeches, dialogue sessions, and cultural activities, in addition to the “Call of Al-Aqsa” exhibition and procession, which documents the crimes of the usurping entity and highlights the manifestations of Palestinian steadfastness in the face of injustice and tyranny.
