The occupying entity continues its brutal and savage series of massacres against innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip. In the late hours of Tuesday, a new horrific massacre occurred when the occupying forces’ planes bombarded the displaced persons’ tents in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis with more than five missiles. This attack resulted in over 40 martyrs, 65 injured, and many others trapped under the rubble.

Gaza Civil Defense announced that the bombs dropped by the occupying entity’s planes on the displaced persons’ tents in Mawasi Khan Younis weigh 2,000 pounds each. The available teams are still searching for missing persons among the tents, with a large number of martyrs and injured being recovered, including cases of limb amputations.

Mouhamed Bessal, a spokesperson for the Civil Defense in Gaza, noted that “entire families had vanished in the Mawasi massacre under the rubbles, due to the use of heavy explosive bombs by the occupation forces.”

In a statement, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said, “The new massacre serves as additional evidence that the international silence on the genocide against Palestinians for the past 11 months, and the lack of appropriate responses to the mass killings, encourages ‘Israel’ to commit more such crimes.”

Human Rights Watch added that “the indiscriminate attacks on civilians in Gaza constitute war crimes.”

Since October 7th, the occupying entity has been waging a brutal war on Gaza, resulting in over 40,000 martyrs, nearly 94,000 injured—most of whom are women and children—and massive destruction of infrastructure, creating an unprecedented humanitarian disaster, according to local authorities and the United Nations.
