Since October 7, Gaza has become a place where pain and destruction mix, as its residents continue to suffer with the increasing destruction and repeated deliberate evacuation orders by the occupying entity.

The same scenes we see in Gaza, the people of the West Bank have been suffering for days from the same nightmare, as the aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp continues, where the Palestinians find themselves once again facing a new wave of demolition and forced displacement.

The occupying entity continues its invasion of the occupied West Bank on Monday, as it continues, for the 6th consecutive day, its military aggression and invasion of the city and camp of Jenin, coinciding with the demolition and bulldozing of homes, infrastructure, and vital and service facilities, specifically in the camps of Tulkarm and Jenin. The continuance of the abuse of Palestinians and the imposition of collective punishment against them, besieging them and preventing them from moving, while forcing dozens of families from the Jenin camp to be forcibly displaced.

Jenin Mayor Nidal Obeidi said that “the destruction left by the Israeli occupation “army” in the city, its eastern neighborhood and its camp is like an earthquake” estimating the losses of the sabotage at about ($135.2 million).

Obeidi pointed out that “the great loss is represented by the lives of the martyrs, and on the material level there is great destruction caused by the occupation’s mechanisms in the infrastructure, including the breaking and sabotaging of water and communication lines and the bombing of electricity transformers.”

In turn, the head of the Higher Follow-up Committee for Jenin Camp, Nidal Naghnaghiya, confirmed that “the occupation forces are raiding homes, especially in Al-Rakh and Al-Hawashin neighborhoods, forcing families to leave.”

He added: “The occupation forces are preventing ambulance crews and obstructing the work of volunteers from reaching the martyrs, especially in Al-Damj neighborhood, and are carrying out a large arrest campaign, and we are facing difficulty in delivering relief supplies and water to citizens inside the camp.

Since dawn last Wednesday, the aggression of the occupying entity on the West Bank and its camps has resulted in the martyrdom of 30 Palestinians, including 18 in the Jenin Governorate, 5 in Tulkarm, 4 in Tubas, and 3 in Alkhalil, which raises the death toll in the West Bank since October 7 to 682 martyrs.

In this context, the occupying entity is deliberately adopting a policy of forced displacement in Gaza and all the way to Jenin, to impose a new reality, which requires a complete and comprehensive occupation of the West Bank. But like all previous attempts, our Palestinian people will remain steadfast despite the suffering and will never leave, as this land carries only one identity, which is the identity of the heroic Palestinian people.
