In light of the Vacating orders issued by the usurping entity, which turns the lives of the residents of Gaza upside down, and aims to spread terror and fear in the hearts of the people of the Strip, the Palestinians are forced to flee without food or belongings, heading on a new journey of displacement.

United Nations spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Tuesday that “about 150,000 people were displaced from Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip in just one day.”

He explained, “The evacuation orders issued by the Israeli army in a very short time via dropping leaflets before the attack, pose significant risks to those fleeing.”

Dujarric confirmed that “150,000 people were forced to flee from Khan Yunis just before yesterday, Monday.”

He pointed out that “people were forced to flee without taking anything with them,” indicating “the lack of infrastructure in the areas to which the displaced people headed.”

The United Nations estimates that 9 out of every 10 persons in the Gaza Strip have been displaced at least once since the start of the war on the Strip, estimating their number at about 1,900,000 persons.

The repeated scenes of displacement and mass displacement, and the increasing difficulties and risks to which the population is being exposed, have exhausted the people of the Gaza Strip. Yet, displacement journeys have become an inevitable reality.
