أعضاء الحملة يتضامنون مع الطبيبة وشاح: دعوة لمواجهة قرار توقيفها
أعضاء الحملة العالمية للعودة إلى فلسطين في مختلف دول العالم يشاركون في حملة التضامن مع الطبيبة الفلسطينية فداء وشاح ضد قرار فصلها من عملها في مستشفى فينيكس في أريزونا الأميركية.
ودعا ناشطون للمشاركة في التغريد على هاشتاغ #standwithDrWishah كما شاركوا في إرسال الرسائل إلى إدارة المستشفى للضغط عليها.
وجاء في الرسالة التي وجهها أعضاء الحملة إلى مدير المستشفى مطالبات بعدم التصرف مع الطبيبة وشاح بعقلية منقادة للاتهامات الصهيونية، إذ أنّ الاتّهامات الموجّهة لها بمعاداة السامية لا تعكس إلّا حجم السذاجة والأفكار العنصرية التي تسيطر على عقل صاحب الاتّهام نفسه. كما أنّ مواقف الدكتورة وشاح كانت كلّها موجّهة ضدّ الاحتلال الإسرائيلي وليس ضدّ اليهود!
وأكّد أعضاء الحملة في الرسالة على أنّ طبيبة أطفال تداوي الأطفال في أريزونا الأميركية وتتفاعل مع مرضهم وحالتهم كيف لها أن ترى عشرات الأطفال في وطنها فلسطين يقتلون دون أن يكون موقفها عالياً وصارخاً وبشكل طبيعي جداً ضدّ إجرام الاحتلال وقتله للأطفال.
وفيما يلي نصّ الرسالة بالإنكليزية:

Dear Mr. Meyer:
Subject: Temporary suspension of Dr. Fidaa Wishah’s duties at the Radiology Department.
We are writing to you to raise our deep concern about the action taken in regard to Dr. Fidaa’s work status at your hospital, Radiology Department.
We strongly condemn the temporary suspension of Dr. Fidaa’s duties due to false accusations and pressure held upon you from few organizations known for their animosity towards freedom of speech.
Yet, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the allegation of Dr. Fidaa being an anti-Semitic is entirely false, not to mention ridiculous, since she, as a Palestinian, is a Semite herself, so how could a person be opposing his/her race?!
Furthermore, none of Dr. Fidaa’s comments, posts or tweets referred to the Jewish community, she clearly spoke her mind in regards to the non-stopping Israeli crimes against children in Palestine, especially during the last attack on Gaza. A right granted to her by the first amendment of the United States constitution, where freedom of religion and freedom of speech are protected by international and local legislations.
However, we would not expect any less from a doctor whose job, which she is dedicated to and good at, is taking care of children and helping them to live a better life. In fact, we would expect from you as a hospital specialized in relieving the pain of so many children, to back her up and extend a hand of support to help cure the severely injured children in Palestine, who many of them are still in critical conditions and need intensive care.
We call upon you to reinstate Dr. Fidaa’s position as a doctor of radiology at your hospital, in an effort to put an end to the bullying practiced by these organizations, and help inculcate the real values of the American society, and we urge you to treat this matter professionally and fairly.
